Coronavirus Cleaning Update
Our hearts and prayers go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event. The health and safety of everyone in our community come first, and we wanted to share a few updates as they stand during this challenging and rapidly evolving situation
Yes, We Are Open
As of 5 pm yesterday, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf ordered all Non-essential businesses to close. Since we are a business that serves the basic human needs of the community, we are open and will remain so unless ordered to close by the proper authorities.
Protecting Our Staff, Customers, and Community
Supplemental to our daily disinfecting standards and in adherence to the CDC recommendations we have implemented a strategic plan to protect our service providers and customers from the spread of disease
If someone in your house or business is infected, is presumed to be infected, or has encountered someone who has been infected with COVID-19, please notify us asap. Your cleaning will be temporarily postponed and resume only after medical clearance. While supplies last, we may be able to schedule your property to be fogged with an EPA approved antimicrobial COVID-19 cleaner. The availability of this service is also contingent on our supply of full-body personal protective equipment (PPE). Please call us for more details.
Every morning, before work, all our service providers and support staff will have their temperature taken. Anyone who’s temperature reads above 100.6 degrees will be sent home and will not return to work until they have medical clearance.
We are sanitizing our vehicle interiors twice daily. We are disinfecting our office and rug spa daily while running air scrubbers every night.
We have also given the authority to our service providers to go beyond our standard procedures for the appropriate level of PPE. You may see our service providers wearing face masks, respirators, gloves, shoe covers, and or full-body protective coveralls. It has always been our policy that after each job, all equipment and reusable PPE is sanitized. Additionally, it is standard never to reuse used towels or mop heads from one job to the next.
House Cleaning Customers
As usual, we will pay extra attention to disinfecting doorknobs, light switches, countertops, TV remotes, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks, toilets, and all surfaces/floors that can be safely disinfected with Clorox Clean UP and or Antibacterial Soap.
Carpets, Rugs, Mattress, & Upholstery Cleaning Customers
The CDC says that 3% of hydrogen peroxide can inactivate most surface bacteria (including COVID-19) within eight minutes dwell time. The cleaning product we use and will continue to use for most fabric cleaning is hydrogen peroxide (5%) plant-based product. Combining this with our purified steam rinse (212 degrees) and powerful truck-mount extraction it is within reason, although not proven to say most if not all bacteria on your carpets, rugs, mattress, or upholstery will be destroyed.
*This product and steam cleaning procedures cannot be used on silks, sisal, camel hair, suede, or leather.
Ceramic Tile & Grout Cleaning Customers
While supplies last, we have added the use of a COVID-19 disinfectant to our tile and grout cleaning service.
Hardwood Floor Cleaning Customers
This service involves the use of an alcohol-based cleaning product. However, its concentration may not be high enough to claim that all surface bacteria will be destroyed. The extraction process produces no heat, as it would damage hardwood floors.
Dryer Vent Cleaning Customers
Dryer exteriors will now be sanitized.
Air Duct Cleaning
The product used in air duct sanitizing and fogging is an EPA approved antimicrobial used to kill COVID-19, and it is running very low. Therefore, we cannot guarantee product availability, and prices are subject to change.
A Little Something
While supplies last customers may receive complimentary alcohol wipes to disinfect,
We are staying updated with the recommended precautions from the CDC, World Health Organization, and local health offices to guide our decision making and will update you as needed. Thank you for your business, stay safe, and please feel free to contact us if we can help.
